How “no upload” works
Paperwing is a web page that brings its PDF engine to your browser. When you add files, they are read from your disk into the page’s memory and merged there. No request carries them anywhere, which you can check yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, and merge a file. You’ll see no upload.
Works without internet
Once you have opened the tool, it keeps working offline. You can even switch off Wi-Fi before merging; in Chrome or Edge you can install Paperwing as an app.
